Update your information at any Customer service center in LOTTE Duty Free store.
  • Please place orders with the passport information of the person planning a departure.
    (You cannot pick up your orders unless the passport number and name exactly match the passport information on your order.
  • You cannot pick up your orders if they were placed with expired or incorrect passport information.
  • You cannot pick up your orders and get VIP benefits (discounts, coupons, etc.) if your name or passport number have changed from the information listed on your order.
  • ※ A passport information update request form must be submitted to LOTTE Online Duty Free at least 3 days prior to the scheduled departure if you need to update your passport information after placing orders.

CHANGE FLIGHT INFORMATION

  • Please contact the LOTTE Duty Free customer service center at least 3 days prior to your scheduled departure date if your flight has been cancelled or your flight information has changed.
  • You can cancel your online orders or change your flight information for your online orders at [My Account] > [Cancel Order / Change Flight Information] when your flight has been cancelled or your flight information has changed.

    (Please contact the LOTTE Duty Free customer service center when you cannot change or cancel your online orders due to pending order status.)

HOW TO CANCEL ORDER

  1. 1. Submit a form at [My Account] > [Cancel Order / Change Flight Information]
  2. 2. Contact the LOTTE Duty Free customer service center and submit a request.
  1. 1. Please visit the store where you made the purchase and inform the store of your intention to cancel.
  2. 2. Please inform an in-store customer service center of your intention to cancel.
  • Orders can be cancelled instantly only when items in the orders are in Purchase Complete (order complete) or Moved to Bonded Warehouse (item delivered) status.
  • Order cancellation request forms should be submitted if any items in the orders are not in Purchase Complete (order complete) or Moved to Bonded Warehouse (item delivered) status.
  • ※ For items Moved to Bonded Warehouse (item delivered) status, an order cancellation request form may be required depending on the item’s location.
  • ※ The order cancellation process is the same as the refund and exchange processes explained below.

Notes
  • Merchandise that has been damaged, lost, or otherwise depreciated in value due to use cannot be refunded or exchanged.
  • Refunds or exchanges of duty free items can be made only within the specified return period.
  • Refunds or exchanges can be made only when requests are submitted or the items are declared and entrusted to customs when entering Korea.
  • Exchanged items can be picked up from the designated pickup counter at the airport.
  • Refunds and exchanges of duty free items must follow the Customs Act.
  • Refunds and exchanges of eligible items must also follow the Customs Act.
    • - Refunds or exchanges on items exceeding US $600 must go through international mailing service or be declared and entrusted to customs when entering Korea.
    • - Refunds or exchanges on items less than US $600 do not need to go through international mailing service or be declared and entrusted to customs when entering Korea.

Restrictions on bringing duty free
items back into country

Duty free items are exempt from payment of certain local or national taxes and duties on the condition that the items sold will be used or consumed outside the country or given to another person living outside the country as gifts.

  • Duty free items are exempt from payment of certain local or national taxes and duties on the condition that the items sold will be used or consumed outside the country or given to another person living outside the country as gifts.
  • You must report to customs officers if anything you bring back that you did not have when you left Korea (duty free purchases brought back to Korea and oversea purchases) exceeds the limit of US $600.
  • Please be aware of that you may penalized not only with tax, but also with additional fees and penalties and severe punishment for knowingly or unknowingly failing to report or wrongly purchase duty free items.
  • Korea Customs Service keeps personal information and purchase records of duty free store customers in its system. Please note that travelers departing from Korea with purchased duty free items over US $600 may be required to go through a customs inspection based on this data when arriving in Korea.
