LOTTE Duty Free Shop's history represents the history of Korea's Duty Free industry.

Lotte Duty Free's history begins with the history of Korea's duty free retail industry. Since the opening of our Main Store in February, 1980, Lotte Duty Free has been a world leader in the duty free retail industry with nine domestic branch stores including our Main Store, World Tower Store, COEX Store, Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Store, Incheon Airport Terminal 2 Store, Gimpo Airport Store, Gimhae Airport Store, Busan Store, and Jeju Store. Also, after the opening of the Jakarta Airport Store in 2012, it has been successfully expanding its business to overseas markets including Indonesia, Guam, Japan, Vietnam, Bangkok, Australia, and New Zealand.
